Always love being able to go to a wedding and take the Airstream for the weekend’s accommodations. We hoped to get away from all the fires, however Ashland was not immune. The fires were everywhere as was the smoke filled skies. Friday night we listened to a wedding reception in the day-use area, Saturday we toured Ashland and attended the wedding, and Sunday we took a leisurely drive home. It was a good weekend spot to spend our 40th wedding anniversary.
This is the second time we have camped at the Point RV Park as part of the Jackson County Parks system.
Made the reservations in advance which was a good idea as most were already taken when we arrived. There are 32 sites – all with a view and hookups. Site #12
One other Airstream in the park on Friday and there were three of us on Saturday night.
We spent a lot of time just watching the boat ramp and everyone boating.
The wedding was at Belle Fiore Estate and Winery which had numerous settings in which the wedding party was held.
The cake reminded me of our cake 40 years before, however unlike ours the flowers weren’t forgotten in adorning this one.
Tiffany and Michael made a perfect couple!
Emigrant Lake is a reservoir and only 5 miles from Ashland. There is even a little water slide park here.
