Lucky us to be included in the Northern California Airstream group for a rally to reopen the Calistoga Fairgrounds. And on top of it, we just had a lift kit put on, by Bay Area Airstream, so now we can park it in the driveway! The lift was only three inches but what a difference it made. Street parking was not at all level and who wants to have their trailer on the street anyway.
We took off on Friday, March 28 and arrived within two hours. Friday night was a meet and greet, and Saturday the potluck. Also, on Saturday the city had a celebration opening it up again to the public. We all enjoyed full hookups in the rain and the sun, each others company and various stories. This was our first rally with this group and we liked it so much we signed up for the Olema Spring Rally ~2025.
From this park you are able to walk into Calistoga easily. We stayed an additional night and had the entire park to ourselves. Then moved on to Skyline Wilderness Park in Napa for Monday night.
